Our Shepherd

Rev. Paul L. Beisel -- received his bachelor degree from Concordia University, Nebraska, in 1997.  He completed his Master of Divinity at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, IN., where he also received a Master of Sacred Theology in 2004 focusing on Exegetical Theology.  Pastor Beisel served Concordia Lutheran Church in Warsaw, IL., and Messiah Lutheran Church in Keokuk, IA., from 2002 until receiving a Divine Call from Immanuel Lutheran Church.  He was installed as Immanuel's pastor on November 15, 2009.

Pastor Beisel was born in Oklahoma City, OK., on May 19, 1975.  He spent the majority of his childhood in Pittsburg, KS.  From 1986-1987, Pastor Beisel lived with his family in Taichung, Taiwan.  Since then, he has traveled to other countries including Thailand and Germany.

Pastor Beisel and his wife, Amy, are the parents of Susan, Lizzy, Martin, and Theodore.

Our Secretary

Sandi Ites --  has served as Immanuel's secretary since 1996.  She and her husband, Steve, have been married for over thirty years and have two daughters, Erin and Stacie.  Erin and her husband, Courtney, are the parents of a son.  Sandi is delighted to be a grandma!  Stacie is a teacher in Houston, Texas.  In her spare time, Sandi enjoys sewing, needlework, and reading.  She makes the baptismal napkins and helps make church banners.  She has served on various church boards.  Sandi says, "I love my job and the 500+ people I work for.  This position has given me opportunity to grow in my faith.  Won't you also consider growing in your faith with us?  God bless you!"

Our Christian Education Coordinator

Margaret Wosepka -- graduated from Concordia Lutheran Teacher's College (Concordia University) in Seward, Nebraska, in 1983 with a bachelor of science in elementary education and a concentration in early childhood.  She taught preschool and kindergarten in Missouri and Iowa before taking time off to raise a family.  She and her husband, Scott, are the parents of Alicia and Brian.  Margaret was hired as Immanuel's Christian Education Coordinator (CEC) in 2000.  In this role, she coordinates the activities of the Sunday school and Vacation Bible school, directs the Children's Christmas service, and teaches the 5th-6th weekday class.  In addition to working at Immanuel, Margaret enjoys substitute teaching and spending time with her family at home near Ackley.
